- vomiting/diarrhea
- drugs that increase urine excretion
- excessive sweating
- decreased water intake
- heat
EFFECTS ON BODY;
It upsets the balance of minerals (salt, sugar) in our body. Severe dehydration can cause serious problem.
SYMPTOMS;
- increased thirst
- tiredness
- decreased urine
- dizziness
- headaches
PREVENTION;
- Drink plenty of water
- eat foods high in water like watermelon or grapes
- stay hydrated especially when you are ill or doing exercise
